Veyo Works From Home – Episode 7

May 15, 2020

It’s been a busy week at Veyo. We just announced the launch of our new Specialized COVID-19 fleet in Arizona that will be used to transport members who have tested positive for COVID-19 and that we’ve partnered with the Department of Social Services in Connecticut to help deliver over 1,300 meals to Connecticut seniors who can’t leave their homes. The Veyo team has been working hard over these last few weeks to adapt and adjust to all of the changes that have come about due to COVID-19. We’re so proud of what they’ve accomplished and want to give a big thank you to all of them. Cheers to each and every Veyoian! Now on to a few things to do this weekend…

  • Have a teenager missing out on prom? They can enter the Chips Ahoy Sour Patch Kids #Sweetest PromEver sweepstakes and win premium access to their Virtual prom on Saturday, May 23rd, with special host World Famous DJ Steve Aoki! One entrant will even win a prom-do-over for all their friends once this is over. (Also did you know they made a Chips Ahoy! and Sour Patch Kids cookie? Sounds terrible…let us know if you’ve tried one!)

  • Help the M&Ms create their next commercial by joining in on their virtual coloring party! Now through Sunday you can submit your masterpiece and they’ll pick a few to be included  in  their next TV commercial.

If you’re still looking for something to read…

If you’re a music lover…

And finally, if you or someone you know is struggling during this time, don’t be afraid to reach out! This is a tough time for everyone, but we’re all in this together and there are a ton of resources available. 1-800-Flowers just launched a new program called Connection Communities for people who are looking for advice or support or ideas on what to do during this time.  Headspace is giving away a free year of their program for anyone who lost their job during the pandemic.  And if you just need to talk to someone, the Crisis Text Line offers free support 24/7 with just a single text.
