Next, we’ll need to know what kind of car you drive and get some info on your drivers license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. You can use your phone to upload pictures of each document.
Once your docs are approved, you’ll need to complete the enrollment checklist, which includes a vehicle inspection, training videos, and CPR Certification.

Who does Veyo provide transportation for?
Veyo services the transportation needs of all Idaho Medicaid participants.
Do you have a local office?
Yes! Veyo has a permanent office in Boise, Idaho. The office is at 8150 Emerald, Suites 170 & 180, Boise, ID 83704 and is open Monday through Friday.
Do I need special training to drive with Veyo?
When you complete the application process you’ll be required to watch a few training videos. They’ll cover things like ADA compliance, HIPAA, customer service, and how to use the driver app. You’ll also need to complete CPR training within 30 days of signing up.
Do I need a special license?
Nope. We just require that you have three years of driving history with no major driving violations on your record.
Do I need special equipment or a special vehicle?
Nope. We don’t require any special equipment or a special vehicle. To be a driver, you need a 4-door vehicle that’s model year 2000 or newer. If you have a wheelchair accessible van you can use that as well, just let us know by emailing support@veyo.com.
Can I use my pickup truck or 2-door vehicle?
We’re sorry, at this time we cannot accommodate pickup trucks or 2-door vehicles.
Who will I be driving?
You’ll be driving people to and from their doctor or health appointments. Because their health appointments are scheduled beforehand, we know when and where pickups will need to occur, and we’ll help guide you to the right locations to ensure your success!
Is there a minimum or a maximum amount of time I can drive with Veyo?
Your schedule is up to you. The system is available 24/7, and you are welcome to drive as much or as little as you’d like. Keep in mind that the busiest times are usually Monday-Saturday from 6am to 6pm.
Can I drive with Veyo if I’m driving for another rideshare service?
Sure—we don’t need you to be exclusive. In fact, most of our trips occur during the day between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., so we’re a great alternative to the times when many of the other services aren’t as busy. We just ask that you set yourself as “unavailable” in the app when you’re doing other trips.
How will I get paid?
Our payments are processed electronically and sent out once a week.
