Supply Analyst – San Diego, CA

Primary Responsibilities:

• Driver-partner churn and driver-partner lifetime value analyses and re-engagement experiments.  
• Referral program analysis.
• Determine driver-partner cohorts and how to effectively manipulate each group’s behavior.
• Leverage data to perform intensive analysis across all areas of our business to drive operational decisions.  
• Design supply experiments and interpret the results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions.
• Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to shape future projects and provide recommendations for actions.
• Perform time-series analyses, hypothesis testing, and causal analyses to statistically assess relative impact and extract trends.
• Present findings to senior management to drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, operations, and marketing.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, and a strong educational background in an engineering or technical field.
• Entrepreneurial. Everywhere you go, you can’t help but mobilize people, build things, solve problems, roll up your sleeves, go above and beyond, raise the bar. You are an insatiable doer and driver.
• Experience working with large and multiple data sets/data warehouses and ability to pull from such data sets using relevant programs and coding.
• Strong execution and organization.  To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable executing with little oversight and be able to adapt to problems quickly.

Our ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:

• Strong SQL skills, specific experience with MS-SQL is a plus.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python and R
• Experience visualizing data using pivot tables in Excel, or BI tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with statistical and quantitative modeling and forecasting.
• Experience in identifying business opportunities and defining and measuring success of proposed initiatives.
• Familiar with the Microsoft stack C#, .Net 4.5 and MS-SQL is a plus.
