Content Marketing Manager – San Diego, CA

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager, based in San Diego, CA, to manage content marketing strategy plans, and write and produce a variety of content for use in business development efforts, integrated marketing campaigns, social media, website, blog, and email efforts. Ideal candidates will be very familiar with both digital and traditional marketing efforts and will have experience running campaigns and measuring the outcome. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of team members on real projects and be expected to bring new ideas to make us a better company every day. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, the sales team, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing to execute integrated marketing campaigns and promotions across social media, web, and email platforms
  • Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote Veyo and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests
  • Create and set processes that address national and regional needs in a standardized and scalable manner
  • Track metrics and indicators for data-driven decision-making and course alterations
  • Document marketing best practices and create resource guides for stakeholders to leverage in marketing efforts
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within Veyo to establish platform-specific social benchmarks, KPIs, creative best practices and rules of engagement

Our ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, branding and communications; healthcare and tech experience preferred
  • Past experience producing content for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Past experience building online audiences
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools and wordpress
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
  • Very strong written skills and attention to detail. Must have proven ability to create stories, angles and unique positioning
  • Solid foundational understanding of web analytics and traditional digital media KPIs, experience with Google Analytics a plus
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Four year college degree required
